Victoria’s startup community is booming and it keeps getting bigger and better! Startup Victoria is really excited about all the great things that are happening in our community and we want everyone to know about it.
That is why we are running Startup Week, now in its third year. We hope you will join us in celebrating the diversity and breadth of Melbourne’s startup ecosystem.
In addition to events taking place all over the city, the widely popular Office Hours will make their return. Office Hours creates the opportunity for early stage founders to book 30 min meetings with more established founders, investors, and experts. The initiative has allowed founders to raise investment, establish mentor relationships and enjoy a myriad of other benefits.

Help us make Melbourne one of the world’s best cities to build a startup
Startup Week is back and bigger than ever. This year, Startup Week will take place from the 20th-25th of June and is an opportunity to showcase and connect with everything happening in the ecosystem.
We are currently taking Expressions Of Interest from organisations/ individuals who would like to run an event/ hold open office hours during the week. If you want to get involved, fill out the EOI form by clicking here.
One of the contributing factors of Silicon Valley's success is the pay-it-forward culture, which is inherent to the community. We believe that creating an equivalent culture of giving here in Victoria is an important part of building a sophisticated and successful ecosystem.
With the Startup Victoria's Office Hours, we are looking to enhance the existing culture of advice and assistance that is already in place. We want to lower the barrier to entry for new founders looking to break into the community, and accelerate the learning of the experienced founders already competing in the marketplace.
